Frighteningly Good Halloween Cocktails

Eat + Drink

In honor of Halloween, we’re summoning spirits.

That’s right – our bartenders are using their mighty mixology powers to whip up cocktails inspired by the holiday and flavors of the season. Here are five recipes to try at home. No cauldron required.

2 oz. Milagro tequila
2 oz. Chamomile Citrus Berry Aperitea (Mighty Leaf)
1 oz. hibiscus syrup
1 oz. freshly squeezed lime juice

Shake all ingredients and strain into a highball glass with ice. Garnish with a hibiscus flower and a salt/sugar/ginger rim. (Use two parts sugar to one part salt to ½ part ginger.)

Pumpkin Martini
from Helix Lounge in Washington D.C.

1 ½  oz. Stoli Vanil vodka
1 oz. pumpkin liqueur
2 oz. cream

Shake ingredients together over ice. Strain and serve in chilled martini glass with cinnamon stick stirrer.

Candy Corn Martini
from Sazerac in Seattle

Mental Ward
from Saltbox in San Diego

½ oz. fresh squeezed lime juice
