6 Creative Mocktail Recipes for Your Next Soirée

Who said mocktails needed to be boring? Here are 6 creative mocktail recipes from our bartenders that will excite your palate and have your guests mixing and mingling during your upcoming gatherings.

1.) LANGUAGE OF FLOWERS: 312 ChicagoChicago, IL

Ingredients:

Glass: Rocks

Garnish: 2 skewered blackberries and mint sprig

Instructions: Dry shake all ingredients except soda water and double strain into glass with crushed ice. Top with a splash of soda water and garnish.

 

2.) ROOT HIGHBALL: B&O American BrasserieBaltimore, MD 

Ingredients:

Glass:
 Highball

Garnish: Cilantro or carrot fronds

Instructions: Mix first four ingredients. Pour into ice-filled glass. Top with ginger beer and garnishes.

 

3.) BRAMBLE: BambaraSalt Lake City, UT

Ingredients (to make an apple-pear shrub):

  • 1 part white distilled vinegar
  • 1 part white sugar
  • 1 part water
  • 1 part apples (by weight)
  • 1 part pears (by weight)

Glass:
 Highball

Garnish: Lemon twist

Instructions: Boil all ingredients and let simmer for 3 hours. Puree and strain into glass with ice. Top with a splash of soda water, to taste. Garnish.

 

4.) POMEGRANATE TONIC: B&O American BrasserieBaltimore, MD 

Ingredients:

  • .5 oz. grenadine
  • .5 oz. lemon juice
  • .75 oz. Jack Rudy Tonic Syrup
  • Soda water

Glass:
 Pint or Collins

Garnish: Lemon wheel

Instructions: Shake all ingredients and strain into ice-filled glass. Garnish

 

5.) STRAWBERRY SHRUB LEMONADE: 312 ChicagoChicago, IL

Ingredients:

Glass:
 Pilsner

Garnish: Mint sprig

Instructions: Shake all ingredients and add to glass filled with crushed ice. Garnish.

 

6.) HIBISCUS TEA & LEMONADE: B&O American BrasserieBaltimore, MD 

Ingredients:

  • 1 part hibiscus tea
  • 1 part lemonade

Glass:
 Pint or Collins

Garnish: Lemon wheel

Instructions: Pour equal portions of hibiscus tea and lemonade into ice-filled glass. Garnish.
