Memorable Pet Guest Story
Charlie met Bridget, a King Charles Cavalier, when Bridget's mommy was getting married at the hotel. Bridget was along to celebrate! To help Bridget relax before the big day, Charlie sent her a gift of a comfy doggie bed, special treats to enjoy in her loft suite, and the inside scoop on the best dog parks and bakeries in town to enjoy with her new family. During the wedding reception, Bridget and Charlie played in the courtyard with some of the kids from the wedding party. It was a great time had by all.
Top Tips for Pet Travelers
Alexandria offers paw-lenty of perks for pets. Need a run in the grass? Hotel Monaco is happy to provide directions to several local off-leash parks. There's also many local pet-friendly attractions including historical sites and a riverboat cruise. When it comes to shopping and dining, Charlie recommends the Olde Towne School for Dogs (his alma mater and favorite pet store), the Dog Park pet store for baked treats and ice cream, and Jackson 20 Restaurant for the best doggie Happy Hour in town.
