Memorable Pet Guest Story
Charlie met Bridget, a King Charles Cavalier, when Bridget's mommy was getting married at the hotel. Bridget was along to celebrate! To help Bridget relax before the big day, Charlie sent her a gift of a comfy doggie bed, special treats to enjoy in her loft suite, and the inside scoop on the best dog parks and bakeries in town to enjoy with her new family. During the wedding reception, Bridget and Charlie played in the courtyard with some of the kids from the wedding party. It was a great time had by all.
Top Tips for Pet Travelers
Alexandria offers plenty of perks for pets. There are pet-friendly parks and attractions, including historical sites and a riverboat cruise. There are several off-leash parks and dog run areas near Hotel Monaco. Charlie also recommends the Olde Towne School for Dogs (his alma mater and favorite pet store), Fetch Doggie Bakery, Waterfront dog park, and Jackson 20 Restaurant.
