Hi, I'm Dillon, the Hotel Burnham's Director of Pet Relations. When in Chicago, I help pet travelers and their families to experience all that pet-friendly Chicago has to offer—great businesses like the Atwood Café, the bad dog Tavern, Rockwell’s Bar and Grill; outdoor wonderlands such as Grant Park and Churchill Park my FAV... not to mention the tree-lined streets of the neighborhoods (also featuring great fire hydrants). Pet Guest Story

Dillon: Having just moved back to Chicago from Dallas, it became apparent that I would no longer be able to spend my days hanging out on the Balcony and lounging by the pool. So I followed my instincts and took up residence in the living room at the Burnham hotel, 1 west Washington, Chicago. Although, the desk was a main consideration for me, the ambiance, the fire and the leather chairs, of the living room, sort of made up my mind. This is where I can Really focus on my duties whilst at the same time feel comfortable and relaxed, so join me for a cuddle, kiss or tail wag and enjoy my big Chicago welcome.

For people who like to bring their pets along, Kimpton's Pet-Friendly program is legendary. We offer a warm welcome to pets all over the country, making it easy and fun to have them with you. Really. If you're happier and more comfortable traveling with your pet, you're welcome at every Kimpton Hotel. And you can imagine how much fun it is for us.

Individual pets are welcomed by name on a lobby activities board
Our honor bar is stocked with both pet and people treats
We provide bedding and bowls for guest rooms, including bottled water

Our concierge will have local resources and information about pet-friendly restaurants, parks, playgrounds, and stores close by.
A steady supply of plastic bags for walking your dog

Pet toys, eco pet products and pet-friendly magazines
A special menu for ordering things you may have left behind, like collars, leashes, umbrellas, that kind of thing
