I threw together "The Queen Bee" and it's become one of my signature cocktails and received great acclaim.

I am a trained opera singer. I still miss singing and performing but life took me behind the bar, the new stage.
What is you hangover cure?
Coffee; water; a sausage, egg and cheese sandwich; and time. If all else fails, take another shot.
If you had to give a young mixologist some advice, what would you tell them?
Read a lot and never stop learning. There is always more to learn.
Who's you bar hero?
I have two -- Jerry Thomas, the first bartender to write everyhting down, and Dale Degroff, who started the cocktail revolution, bringing back old cocktail recipes and teaching bartenders how to make quality cocktails.
