Mouthwatering Isn’t The Word. The menu at Red Star Tavern & Roast house emerges from America’s Heartland. But it’s the flavor combinations that have Portland coming back for more.  Chef Thomas Dunklin brings his own extensive background to the table, along with a wealth of regional ingredients from local, sustainable farms. Try the Roast House Iron Skillet Cornbread with Wildflower Honey Butter, or the Rotisserie Dry Aged American Buffalo Prime Rib with 'Dirty' Rice Spaeztle. And the Bananas and Bourbon are not to be missed.

A Very Tasty Setting, Too.  Many Portland foodies consider Red Star to be Portland’s best downtown restaurant.
