We're taking relaxed drinking and dining up a couple of notches. Executive Chef Michael Ransom has brewed up quite a menu of small plates and tavern-inspired casual fare. Expect the unexpected, though, like fish & chips made with a wild, true cod, encrusted with polenta. You can taste the influence of local, organic, seasonal, and sustainable ingredients. One of our favorite items on the menu will be the house-made seasonal sausage. The first sausage we've introduced is a spicy beer sausage that pairs perfectly with the Blanche de Bruxelles beer.
Jasper's has an abundance of brews on tap, 12 to be exact. Bar Manager Kevin Diedrich also oversees the mixing of classic cocktails, again with an eye on fresh local ingredients, and an extensive wine list. Plan to pop in any old time, whether you're staying at the Serrano or strolling around Union Square. The atmosphere encourages game and people-watching.
