Low Turnover and High Expectations. Kimpton has one of the lowest turnover rates in the hospitality industry. And for good reason. Because we have created a culture of care in every level of the organization, there's a lot to look forward every day. And there are plenty of opportunities to move onward and upward, especially since Kimpton is in the process of developing new hotels and restaurants all over the country.
Last year, 25 employees transferred between hotels and restaurants. Another 50 participated in advance teams to help with the opening of new hotels and restaurants, including training new hires.

Inside stories:
Jimmy Hord is the General Manager of our Boston Nine Zero Hotel. He started his Kimpton career 15 years ago as a parking valet in San Francisco. He's always on the lookout for people who are natural connectors. "I can teach people how to turn down a bed, park a car, or check in a guest. I can't teach them how to connect through their heart and soul to a guest."
