Our EarthCare Program Has Deep Roots. Before being green was trendy, Kimpton committed to supporting a sustainable world through non-intrusive, high quality, eco-friendly products and services.
- In 2005, we formally launched Kimpton EarthCare to involve our employees and guests in taking environmentally-responsible actions. We view EarthCare as a continual process of studying and adopting new and innovative ways to do our business while reducing our ecological footprint.
- Over the past two years, we've introduced a number of operating practices and products in our hotels and restaurants that benefit our planet in deeply meaningful ways.
Kimpton Cares. This is more than a slogan for our corporate social responsibility programs. It emerges directly from our organizational culture.

- We support the LGBT community and our LGBT employees through various programs and initiatives, including company-wide diversity training and our involvement with hundreds of non-profit organizations.
- The Kimpton Red Ribbon Campaign assists HIV service organizations across North America at the local level, through employee volunteerism, HIV educational campaigns, corporate donations, and raising funds for the nonprofits through special events.
- On the national level our employees raise money for Parks for People-The Trust for Public Land. They do everything from planting trees to holding posh fundraisers in our hotels and restaurants.
- Kimpton employees host fundraisers, imaginative events and a national summit that supports Dress for Success. This is a non-profit organization that provides business attire and career development support to low-income women transitioning into the workforce.
